Positions
When the Tower of Eclipse was founded, Kariene decided to change
the positions and their duties. So, after planning and consulting, she
devised a plan.
The Amyrlin Seat:
While the title of Amyrlin would stay the same, her job would change
drastically. Besides running most of the Tower's buisness, she is now in
charge of all incoming Novices. She is the one who tests their ability
to channel, and decides what rank they should be. In the Tower of Eclipse,
you do not have to start as a Novice, but very rarely does a girl have
enough channeling ability to go directly to the arches.
Keeper of the Chronicles:
The position of Keeper has basically stayed the same. She is the
'secretary' of the Amyrlin Seat, and is in charge of all paperwork concerning
the Tower, although Amyrlin approval is required on all work she does.
When not doing paperwork, the Keeper looks over Novices and Accepteds,
making sure nothing goes wrong. She also keeps track of any lessons or
chores Novices and Accepteds do, for the main records.
Ajah Heads:
In this tower, instead of three Sitters per Ajah, there is one
elected Ajah Head per Ajah. This woman is chosen by the members of her
own Ajah, and their vote is based on many things. Strength in the Power,
leadership abilities, and resourcefulness are only some of the qualities
a good Ajah Head must have.
Warder Master:
This man is in charge of all WiTs that enter the Tower. He keeps
track of their lessons and chores, and has the same responsibilities as
the Keeper. When he is not doing any paperwork involved with WiTs or Warders,
he keeps track of what is going on with the WiTs, and, like the Keeper,
makes sure nothing goes wrong.
